A Message From Your Chair Jim Fogg — Tell Us What You Want to See From Your DBA YLD in 2017–18
As the Chair of your DBA YLD Executive Council for the coming year, I want to hear from you. Those of us who serve on the Executive Council strive to provide you, our membership, with opportunities that you value. That is why we continue to provide a wide array of well-attended social events and educational opportunities on a variety of different topics. But, it is also why we are constantly evaluating our programming and adapting it to better serve the DBA YLD membership — all of you. For example, in the past couple of years, we have worked to develop more events aimed at bringing young attorneys into meaningful contact with other groups of young professionals and to provide more opportunities to grow relationships through shared interests that don’t necessarily involve the office.
This month’s programming is a perfect example, as it is jammed packed with family picnics, rafting adventures, and golf outings. But, we also recognize that our members may value certain opportunities more than others and that there are probably things we can do better. If there is something you would like to see from your DBA YLD in the year to come, please call or email me, or any of the other Council members, with your ideas. We want to you get involved with the DBA YLD and we want you to stay involved with the DBA YLD. That is why we want to hear from you.
