The DBA YLD Executive Council consists of 11 members who help serve the Denver legal community and its members. Council members identify new strategies to engage the legal community, organize networking events and CLE’s, and identify other opportunities to help young lawyers thrive. Council members commit to serving a three-year term, attend monthly board meetings at 6 p.m. on the 2nd Wednesday of each month at the Denver Bar Association offices, and participate in a wide array of DBA YLD events throughout the year. Interested persons are strongly encouraged to attend the next Council meeting on March 14 at 6 p.m. Applications, including a current résumé and a letter of interest detailing the applicant’s relevant experience, characteristics, and qualities that would make them a valuable addition to the Council, should be submitted to Jill Mullen and Vanessa Babarsky by Friday, April 6. To be eligible you must be a current Denver Bar member, and under the age of 37 or within your first five years of practice. Do not hesitate to reach out to Jill Mullen, Vanessa Babarsky, or any current member of the Executive Council with questions regarding the position or time commitment. |
